Fun at the movies!!

Before going to the movies Mommy & Daddy stopped at Wing Stop for some food!!  Mommy got some honey BBQ boneless wings and some cheese fries...she also had a few lemon wedges.  :D  Daddy had some boneless Hawaiian wings and regular fries.  He kept trying to eat all Mommy's cheese fries.  He wouldn't smile for any of the pictures so these are the best we got.

So after Wing Stop we went to see X-Men and it was very long!!  We met up with Jason, Kelley, Cassady & one of her friends.  Callen was very active during the movie!!  Probably because he was comfortable either!!  Mommy figured out that she DOES NOT like going to the movie theater right now!!  

Mommy got really thirsty during the movie and just wanted some ice water but Daddy wouldn't go because he didn't want to miss any of the movie.  So Mommy waited until the movie was over to get water.  She thought she wanted a Lemonberry slush from Sonic but after she got some water she was good.

Kelley got to feel Baby Callen kick at the movies too!!  She was really excited!  Everyone was going to Waffle House for food after the movie but Mommy was tired and missed Max so Daddy took her home...it was almost 11:00!!

So we're headed to bed now!!  See you people tomorrow!!  :)

Long day!!

Mommy has been up since 5:15!!  She wasn't planning on getting up that early...it just happened!  She didn't sleep the best but it was ok.  Only tossed and turned a few times in the early morning.  Then at 5:15 she knew she had to go to the bathroom.  So she got up to use the bathroom.  Then Mommy tried to go back to sleep until the alarm went off but she was awake just enough to where Daddy's light snoring bothered her so she finally just got all the way out of bed.

She got dressed for work, had a protein shake (she doesn't eat anything before 8:00 usually) and was out the door at 6:15.  Got up to work and set up her computer.  Sat at her desk and read through membership emails, verified credits and debits, kept track on her spreadsheet and so on!  When she finally got to something that was going to be a little more interesting to do, she learned that she didn't have access to do that and she needed to call the help desk.  So then it was back to verifying credits and debits.

Then Daddy called and said he was coming to switch out the cars because he needed the Vue.  Mommy was so glad he called!!  Callen had been kicking for about 30 minutes and Mommy realized he (& she!) were hungry!!  So she asked Daddy to bring her something to eat when he came up there.

Daddy stopped at Publix to get some food.  He got Mommy an Italian wrap with FETA CHEESE & BANANA PEPPERS on it!!  It was so good!!  Mommy ate the wrap and Callen was happy and went to sleep for a little while.

So then Mommy drove over to Maw Maw and Paw Paw's to meet Daddy.  She enjoyed watching baseball with Maw Maw while Daddy worked in the garden and on the boat with Paw Paw.  She also laid down on the couch and fell asleep for a little while (like she always does) because she was very tired!  Went to bed around 11:00 or so and got up early for work.  Daddy thought it would be so cool if he woke Mommy up before she was ready to get up and then told Mommy what a grouch she was!

Mommy then headed home to see Max because he is always in his crate and it is the weekend so she didn't want to keep him locked in his crate the whole time.  Mommy and Daddy are getting ready to go pick up Daddy's sunglasses, grab something for dinner and head to the MOVIES with Jason and Kelley to see X-Men!

Fun Friday!!

Mommy was starting the weekend off great!!!  Went with Aunt Caty to go have "Girl Movie Night" but ended up going to Beef O'Brady's after the power went out at Aunt Erin & Uncle Kyle's place.  We had our own personal TV at our table too!!

Mommy ordered some YUMMY food also!!

but the night was not complete without Mommy's plate full of Lemon Wedges!!!  It was so good!!!

AND THE MIAMI HEAT BEAT INDIANA TO ADVANCE TO THE FINALS!!!  GO HEAT!!!!

No good!

Well sleep is going back to being no good for Mommy!  Woke up several times last night, tossing and turning.  Daddy snored some but not as much.  Mommy is TIRED!!  Good thing it is Friday!!!  :)

Hungry!!!

So for the first time ever during Mommy's pregnancy, she was SO HUNGRY that she was about to cry!!  It may have been because all she had all morning was a cheese stick.

It was around 10:15 today at work and Mommy was so hungry!!!  Her friend Renee offered her an Advobar (Advocare's protein bar) but Mommy politely turned it down (since it was Renee's & it was little!  lol) and went to the cafeteria.

The cafeteria at Navy Federal is a pretty good size and they always have a lot to choose from, so Mommy walked around for a few minutes until she targeted the exact thing she wanted...A CHEESEBURGER!!!  They had pre-made baskets with cheeseburgers and fries so Mommy grabbed one and made sure to get a box with lettuce, tomato, onions & pickles!  This cheeseburger was going to be AMAZING!!!

Mommy got some ketchup and mustard packets and proceeded to check out and head back to building 4 where her desk was at.  As soon as she got up there she fixed the burger with everything, put on her headset & chowed down on this cheeseburger!!!

The cheeseburger was so great and so filling that when lunch time came around she didn't eat anything except half a piece of pineapple upside down cake.  After work Mommy headed to Nana's house for TV Night and Nana had some kielbasa, sour kraut & potatoes cooking in the crock pot so Mommy enjoyed some of that for dinner!

It was a pretty good day food wise!!  :D

Nice relaxing night!!

Mommy & Daddy had a nice relaxing night last night!  AND we got some things done around the house!  Laundry is a breeze when Mommy folds everything and puts it on hangers...& then Daddy puts it all away!  We still have a few more loads to do (this happens pretty frequently when we let it pile up) but we'll probably finish it tomorrow since today is WEDNESDAY!!!  It's TV Night for Mommy and Daddy will probably get to play on the computer!!

Baby Callen was kicking and moving around all day yesterday!!  He is definitely getting bigger because Mommy was a bit uncomfortable yesterday because she felt like she was being "stretched" most of the day!  It wasn't bad...just uncomfortable!

Daddy said we are going to go up to Lowe's or Home Depot this weekend to buy the paint for Callen's room!  We are going with Monster's Inc. colors but Mommy is still thinking about how she wants to do the room!

Mommy's GENIUS idea!!

So Mommy has figured it out that it is WAY EASIER on her if she showers at night as opposed to in the mornings before work!  She has time to do other things in the morning...and she has time to do something with her hair instead of just throwing it up in a knot on top of her head!  Since it dries while she sleeps it's very convenient for her in the mornings!  :)  It looks crazy when she gets up but she has time to make it work!

26 weeks!!

Mommy is 26 weeks along with Baby Callen!!!  That means only 14 more weeks (give or take a little time) until we meet this little guy!!!!

Happy 3 day weekend!!

Yay!!!  It's a 3 day weekend!!  Mommy was super excited about sleeping in this weekend...until she decided to get up before 6:30.

Max let's us know when he's ready to get up & go outside.  He started in on us about 5:45.  Then Mommy's back wasn't feeling the best, so she switched to her right side which felt a TON better!!  But then the alarm went off again, Callen kept kicking :) & Mommy realized she had to go to the bathroom.  So she got up!  And here we are!!

We're up!!

Mommy's alarm went off at 5:30 this morning and surprisingly, she jumped right out of bed!!  She ate something...drank 1/2 a spark...took her vitamins...has green bean casserole in the oven...& it's not even 6:00 yet!!  Today is going to be a great day!!  & Callen is already moving around a little bit!!  :D

Busy day!

Callen moved some but not a lot today.  We had a busy day!!  Mommy has to do a lot of cooking tonight!!  So wish her luck!!

I'm awake!

Callen is moving and Mommy is UP!!!  I don't know what he's doing in there but he must be having a good time because he is moving all around!!!  :D  So excited & happy my kid is moving around and seems to be doing well...grow baby grow!!!  :P

So after work Mommy went grocery shopping for all of the awesome food for the potluck at work on Friday (she'll be cooking a lot tomorrow!!) she headed over to Nana's for TV night!!  Of she wore her shirt with that STUPID camel on it!!!

And of course Nana was taking random pictures of Mommy sitting on the couch!  (Look how big her belly is getting!!!)

Then Mommy found a present with her name on it from Great Grammy and it was AWESOME!!!!

We watched TV night which consisted of the Season Finales of the Middle and Modern Family.  Mommy was excited about the Middle because it was at DISNEY WORLD!!!  Overall, it was a pretty great night!

Maybe he will be an ACROBAT!!

Just kidding!!  But it sure did feel like it tonight!!  He was moving and flipping from the time I got home to the time I got off the couch!!  I think spicy foods may get him moving!  Not 100% sure yet...but we'll see!  :P

Trying to exercise still

Mommy is still walking...or trying to at least!!  It took her 10 minutes to put on her tennis shoes at lunch and she walked for 20 minutes on the treadmill at 2.3 MPH...much slower than she had been.  Daddy likes to take her to walk around stores for exercise but Mommy is still getting to be pretty slow at it!  She'll keep trying though!!  :D

25 weeks!

Only 15 more weeks to go!!  If he stays in that long!!  We shall see!!  Can't wait though!!  Time sure is flying by!!!

Very Productive Day!!

We had a very productive day today!!  We went to church, enjoyed Lifegroup, Mommy worked in the coffee shop, we came home, ate leftovers for lunch and then took a short nap before Daddy came and got us for Sam's Club.  Went to Sam's Club, got groceries for the next few weeks and then headed home.  After we got home, Mommy separated all the meat for the freezer and folded some more laundry.  Then she watched the season finale of Nashville, which was awesome!!  Can't wait for next season!!

Callen moved around some today but not as much as he had been the last few days.  When he's not moving Daddy says "He's a White, he is NAPPING!!  Leave him alone!!"  :)  He likes to move a lot when Mommy is laying down!

After Nashville was over, Daddy & Mommy went to Wal Mart for a few garden things that Daddy needs to grow the squash and tomato plants Mommy wants.  While at Wal Mart Mommy found a Disney paint guide and the colors she wants for Callen's room.  The paint will need to be purchased soon if the room is going to be ready in time for Callen's arrival!  :)

Now Mommy and Daddy are home.  Daddy is hooking up the new hose and watering the garden.  Mommy is getting ready to go fold some more laundry and turn on NCIS:  Los Angeles!  Tomorrow marks a new week so we shall see how big Mommy's belly has gotten!!  :)

Up & at 'em!

We are up and going this morning!!!  We have another busy day ahead!!  But first, let's start off with the BEST news of the day!!  Daddy felt Callen move for the first time!!  Mommy was laying in on her side in bed and felt Callen kicking and moving so she grabbed Daddy's hand and placed it on her belly.  He sat there for about 30 seconds and said he didn't feel anything.  Mommy told him to wait for it...then a few seconds later he felt a BIG kick!  It was so great!!  :)

To start our busy day, we are going to Lifegroup at 9:30 and then Mommy is going to work in the Coffee Shop for a few hours.  After that, Daddy is going to work in the garden for the afternoon while Mommy goes to Sam's Club for some groceries!  We have other things to get done but Mommy cannot think of them at the moment!  Check back later!!  :)

Busy day!

Mommy had a busy day today!!!  She went to the nail salon at 9:30 to see Tony for a pedicure...she got the deluxe package!!  Hour and a half long pedicure was very nice!!

Then Daddy wanted Mommy to go to Target to see if there were any maternity clothes that fit her better since she was complaining last week.  Daddy was at the Strongman gym in Milton getting BUFF!!  Mommy didn't find any pants, which is the only thing she needs but she did get a ton of stuff we needed for the house!!

Mommy came home and straightened the house a bit...she refilled ALL of the soap dispensers in the house since every single one was empty!!  She did the dishes since they had been sitting for 2 days because we had no dish soap or dishwasher detergent!  Then she went through everything that had been piled on the counter and either shredded it & threw it away or put it where it belongs.

Next Mommy started on the laundry.  She washed a few loads of laundry but most of the time she was going through all of the shirts cousin Patrick gave to Daddy.  They are awesome shirts but they needed to be washed since they had been stored for a while.  Mommy is in a very organizing mood at the moment so there will probably be more projects coming soon!!

After all of the chores for the day were complete, Mommy & Daddy had an evening out with friends from church at Ollie's for dinner!  It was fabulous!!  Mommy ordered jalapeno poppers for an appetizer and Daddy got some beer battered mushrooms.  Then Mommy ordered a Cheddar Burger for dinner but barely touched it.  Leftovers for a few days!!  After Mommy ate she held Benjamin for a little while and loved on him for a little while!

We had a very productive day today!!

I have a very active child!!

All Callen did all day today was MOVE MOVE MOVE!!!  This kid is going to be active!!!

Callen's still moving!!

This little guy is moving around like crazy!!  Mommy's still trying to figure out what makes him move or kick.  She hasn't figured out any certain foods that will make him do that.  She tried drinking ice water and it worked half the time.  She does know that when she is sitting down at her desk and leans forward and just rest her upper body on the desk he tends to move!  She figured that one out on accident thought because she was doing it and he kicked so she did it again and he kicked again so we're thinking that's just not comfortable for him!

He moves around some at night but not very often.  Mommy LOVES how when it's time to sleep at night, Callen lets her sleep!!!  She does get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and once she gets up, Callen wakes up and moves around too!

Last night Mommy slept on the bed with Daddy, but at 2:00 she woke up to use the bathroom and then realized that the bed was not comfortable so she was going to sleep on her love seat.  She got her 3 pillows, the flat sheet (since she gets hot all the time but still needs some sort of cover to sleep with), and went to the love seat to make up her little bed.  So Mommy gets comfortable and Max decides he wants to lick Mommy in the face for about 15 minutes!

After Max finally stopped and went to bed it seemed like the alarm was already going off!!  So of course Daddy has his phone to hit snooze every time the alarm goes off and Mommy is doing the same!  Well, the alarm goes off around 6:10, Max jumps on the bed straddling Daddy & licks him in the face until he starts yelling.  So Mommy wakes up and sees this and starts to laugh so hard!!  Max turns to her for a second but then continues to wake Daddy up.  He yells some more until finally Mommy gets up and takes Max downstairs.

Well after that craziness and going to work all day, Mommy is TIRED!!!!!  & Daddy is supposed to come home and give her a foot rub!!  :)

24 weeks!!!

24 weeks today!!!  Callen is an EAR OF CORN!!!!  :D  GROW BABY GROW!!!!

This child LOVES to move around!!!

So it's Saturday and Callen hasn't been as active today as he has been in the last few days.  But he has been kicking and moving some!

I think it was Thursday at work when I decided I needed a nap and was going to sleep for a little while in the quiet room.  So I go in there, have the chairs pushed together to make a nice little bed, have a pillow for my head and a blanket rolled up for back support.  The SECOND I lay down to sleep he starts kicking!!  And it wasn't a "kick kick kick", he'd kick and I'd wake up, stay up for a second then lay back down.  Then he would do it again!!  It went on for about 15 minutes until I gave up and just laid there resting.  It was only very funny because before I went to lay down I tried to get him to move and kick, but he was being stubborn and wouldn't!

Then on Friday he was kicking a lot throughout the day and I sat at my desk enjoying the slight bounce my belly would make when he would move.  It's the best feeling!!!  I can't wait until he is here!!!

I also discussed painting Callen's room with Aunt Caty & Aunt Kelley.  We're thinking a light bright blue color for most of the room and then a BRIGHT LIME GREEN for an accent wall.  Now we just need to find the right colors that match the Monsters Inc. bedding Daddy picked out!!

Great Grandma Barren also sent Callen a very cool DIAPER WAGON!!!!  It is very cool and has a ton of great stuff in it!!  Not to mention lots of DIAPERS!!!  :D

Visit with Jenny

Mommy & Daddy visited Jenny Allen yesterday for our monthly checkup up.  We heard Callen's heartbeat which sounded GREAT!  :)  Mommy gained 5 pounds since the last visit.  :D  The only not cool thing is that now Mommy is sick with a sinus infection.  :(  She is allowed to take Tylenol Cold & Sinus (which is good because when she has a sinus infection that's what she LOVES to take!)  She tried a "Netty Pot" last night for the first time and she is feeling it this morning!  :(

In other news, Grandma Kim has decided she wants to be called "Nana"...we'll see if that changes though!  Mommy is going to have some tea this morning and start getting ready for the day!

More kicking!!

So today Mommy decided to play with Callen a little!  She found him on the right side of her belly and pushed on him a little.  He kicked back and you could see it!  So she did it again & he kicked back again!!  So this went on for about 20 minutes...Mommy got her friend, Amanda, from work to witness it so that someone would be able to vouch for her.  Then he didn't want to play anymore.  :(

Mommy wanted to start walking again since she didn't walk at all last week!  (The rain makes her whole body hurt & all it did was rain & flood Pensacola all week!)  Aaron and Julie went to Disney World for the week and Mommy & Daddy are house/dog sitting so we have been going to feed Bessie and Duke every day and can't walk at lunch.  She was going to go after work...then she decided she was too tired and didn't want to.  But then she realized she was so drained because she was really hungry.  So her other friend, Renee, gave her some green beans and chicken nuggets.  Then she had all the energy in the world!!!  So she went to the gym to walk.  Mommy is slacking because she could only walk for 15 minutes.  She'll work on it this week!

Then she came home, vacuumed the living room (Maximillion made a huge mess with his chicken fat filled pig foot!) & ate some dinner.  Carrots, peas & cauliflower along with some chicken she made this morning.  It was delicious!  She also did the dishes so Daddy doesn't have to (since he always does them).

After Daddy gets home in a few minutes he will eat & then we will watch NCIS:  Los Angeles!!  Daddy needs to catch up on last weeks episode and then we will watch tonight's episode!  Only 2 more episodes until the end of the season!  :(

Well, Mommy hopes Callen continues to move a lot so she can share the joy!!  We need to be up early tomorrow for a dentist appointment at 7:50 and an appointment at 9:20 with Jenny Allen.  Until tomorrow...

23 weeks!!

So Mommy had training yesterday and Callen was kicking a lot during the training class!!  It was so exciting!!  Mommy even saw the spot on her belly move when he kicked!!  It was the coolest feeling ever!!  :)  (Which makes up for being up at 5:15 this morning because Max had to go to the bathroom and couldn't wait until the alarm went off at 6:00!!!  Oh well!!!)
