Yay for 9 more weeks!!!

Callen weighs as much as a COCONUT!!!  He's getting so big!!  He is a very active baby!!  Mommy can feel him move around and kick ALL THE TIME!!!  Sometimes it's not the most comfortable thing but it is so awesome and Mommy enjoys every bit of it!!

Yesterday, Mommy and Daddy painted some more of Callen's room!  We have the first coat done for all of the walls, now we just need to get the second coat and do some finishing around the edges.  :)

Mommy and Daddy went with Grandma Jan to Target and we got Callen's crib!  We also bought the matching glider and ottoman!  Nana has Mommy's antique english dresser which is actually a Baby Armoire in her storage unit that Daddy is going to help her get for Callen's room too!

As soon as we get more pictures of Callen's room after it comes together we'll put them up!

31 Weeks!!!

Only 9 weeks left until this little guy is here!!  Mommy and Daddy can't wait!!

Callen says it's time to get up!!

And Max too!!  Max was jumping on the bed and Callen was moving around in Mommy's belly so it is time to get up!!  Getting ready for church!!  It's going to be a great day!!  & a great week!!  It's the 4th of July on Friday so we have a LONG WEEKEND coming up!!  YAY!!!!!

Weekend fun!

While Mommy was out with Nana getting a pedicure...

Daddy was home getting the nursery started!

Mommy got a few pictures of Daddy painting!

Daddy painted the first coat of gray on the closet wall and the window wall!

He let Mommy help some later that day with the edge painting and anything on the gound!

Tomorrow the "Sulley's Fur" Wall will be painted!!

Mommy and Daddy will probably have to get one more pint of each color to do the second coats, but eventually it will get done!  Baby Boy's room is coming along!!!

Yay it's the weekend!!

Mommy is so excited it's Friday!!  When Daddy gets home, Mommy & Daddy are going to get the paint so that Daddy can paint Callen's room tomorrow while Mommy goes for a pedicure and watches a movie with Aunt Caty!!

Callen has been active ALL DAY!!!  Mommy first felt him kicking a lot this morning when he was ready for her to get up.  Then he was a rock hard ball on her left side for most of the morning!  Callen seemed to rest while Mommy walked on the treadmill at lunch.  He started moving more when he was hungry so Mommy went to the cafeteria.  She hit the jackpot too!!  Ordered a cheeseburger and got a DOUBLE cheeseburger for the price of a single (it was close to closing time!)  Mommy wasn't able to eat all of it so she gave some to her friend Shawn.  Mommy also got a TON of fries too!!  (Shawn got most of those too!)

It was a good day so far.  Now it is time for a nap and to wait for Daddy!  

Still walking!!

Mommy didn't walk as much today but 27 minutes is better than nothing!!  Callen is moving like crazy!!  Hope he is getting big & strong because Mommy sure feels like she is being stretched way more than she is used to!!  :)

Mommy is exercising!!

Mommy walked for 35 minutes today on the treadmill at work on her lunch!!  Yeah buddy!!!

30 weeks!!

Mommy is 30 weeks!!!  That means only 10 WEEKS TO GO!!!!  YAY!!!!

Mommy had a very productive day yesterday!!  She went to work, finished some work on calls, had presentations all afternoon, worked on some other things she needed to get done, came home, re-organized the plastic leftover containers like she had been wanting to, did some laundry, folded some laundry & cooked a YUMMY dinner!!  All before Daddy got home around 7:15!!!

After Daddy got home, we ate dinner and then Mommy & Daddy went up to Target to make a baby registry.  We have a registry at Babies R Us but Mommy is glad we made one at Target also.  They had a ton of cute stuff!!

Plus there were all kinds of Mickey clothes!!  Mommy and Daddy had a good night out together making this registry.

30 weeks!!

Mommy is 30 weeks today!!!  Only 10 (or so) more weeks to go!!!!  :)

Wonderful Weekend!

Mommy had a wonderful weekend!!  On Friday after work she came home and relaxed while her and Daddy did some laundry.  We watched the Goldbergs on the DVR and Callen moved and kicked around almost the entire time.  He's become a very active baby lately!

Then on Saturday Mommy got to go to Johnson's Beach with her friend Renee, Renee's son Nik & Nik's friend Dallon from church.  Mommy and Renee stayed in the chairs for the most part while Nik and Dallon had fun in the water.  Every once in a while Renee would get Mommy up so they could go into the water and keep cool!

Mommy used LOTS of sunscreen but still got a little burnt.  :(  Her knee caps and the sides of her thighs are burnt.  Oh well!  Her belly is fine because she kept her tank top on and poured water on her belly to keep Callen cool.

While Mommy and Renee were sitting on the beach they saw a little white crab!  He was just moving along to find a spot to dig and hide.  Mommy got a picture where you can kind of see him!  You can see his little black eyes!

After the beach Mommy and Daddy went to hang out with their Life Group from church.  We met up at Rio Bravo's Mexican Restaurant with Mike & Delana, Tiffany & Nathan and Matthew (Kate didn't come because Benjamin wasn't feeling well).

Mommy ordered a taco salad and this was the most interesting taco salad she had ever seen!  It came out and looked like a GIANT TACO!!

So of course we took pictures of Mommy pretending to eat it like a normal taco so everyone could imagine the size of the taco!

Mommy also ordered some queso with jalapenos which was SO GOOD!  That got Callen moving around a little bit!!  

On Sunday morning Mommy and Daddy went to church, then Daddy went to Maw Maw and Paw Paw's to help with some kitchen demolition, then we headed over to Grandma Jan's so Daddy could finish doing some yard work over there.  We ate lunch at Grandma Jan's and then Mommy took Max for a walk while Daddy did some work.  Mommy and Max only walked for 16 minutes because it was SO HOT outside!!  

Then Mommy and Daddy came home and did some more laundry while watching NCIS:  Los Angeles.  We had a nice weekend!!

Time to get up!!

Callen starting kicking and moving pretty early this morning which told me "Mommy!!  It's time to get up & feed me!!"  So we are up now!!

Mommy and Daddy had a fun night with Aunt Kelley and Uncle Jason yesterday!  Mommy and Aunt Kelley walked for 25 minutes with Mocha and Cody while Daddy and Uncle Jason watched some Zombie movie.  Then Mommy and Aunt Kelley watched Friends and traded back rubs.  It was pretty nice!!  Callen started moving around but then stopped when Mommy went to show Aunt Kelley.

But we are up now and it's FRIDAY!!!!  The weekend is near!!  Which also means a little over 10 more weeks until Callen gets here!!  There is still so much to do!!  :)

Mommy's appointment

Mommy and Daddy had an appointment with Jenny Allen this morning and we got to hear Callen's heartbeat!  He has a very strong heartbeat!!  Nana said it sounds just like Mommy's did!  :D

All of Mommy's test results were either "Excellent" or "Great" which made Mommy feel wonderful!!  :)  Mommy's appointments are every 2 weeks now and since her last appointment she had not gained any weight!!  YAY!!!  Jenny said for the rest of the pregnancy Mommy should gain a pound a week and continue walking or some sort of exercise!  :)  

We can't wait for this little guy to get here!!!  10 1/2 more weeks!!!!  :)

Semi normal day

Mommy had a pretty normal day today minus being uncomfortable due to the pants she decided to wear!  Slept so much better since Daddy put the mattress pad back on the bed...the only thing Mommy needs to do different tonight is to sleep with a pillow under her hips.  Other than that she slept like a BABY!!  :D  Only hit the snooze button one time...got up...used the bathroom...let Max out...fed him & hopped in the shower!!  She got out the door to work rather quickly as well but not before getting a bagel for breakfast!

Mommy needed to stop at Publix to pick up some stamps.  Then she headed to work where she forgot she had a training class all week so she's a little behind on her regular work now but will catch up Wednesday evening probably since she is going to be able to make up the hours she misses Wednesday morning due to a visit with Jenny Allen.  Every 2 weeks now!!!  YAY!!!!

Callen was SO ACTIVE today during training!!  He kept kicking or punching big time on Mommy's right side!!  So big that Mommy's belly moved every time he did it!  But of course when Mommy called someone over to come see it Callen stopped.  :(  Oh well...he's moving and that is wonderful!!

After work Mommy came home to visit Max and get some stuff before going to Suzie's for game night & MEXICAN FOOD!!!  She picked a few tomatoes from the garden!!

Off to game night!!  Callen and Mommy get to eat TACOS tonight!!!  YUM!!!!

29 weeks!!!

Only 11 more weeks to go!!!  Callen is the size of a BUTTERNUT SQUASH!!!  I LOVE squash!!!  :P  He's growing so fast now!!  

Fun in the sun!!

Today was a fun day!!!  Mommy and Daddy went over to Grandma Jan's for a visit and Mommy lounged around in the pool!!  She was on one of those floats with the mesh base so it was very comfortable and Mommy got to stay cool in the water while floating around.  Laying on her tummy was comfortable in the pool as well.  She did get a little sun but it's not bad.

Daddy worked out at the strong man gym in Milton.  He deadlifted the car!!  He's so strong!!  He also did some other exercise with a 200 pound keg.

After getting home Mommy took a nice long nap while Daddy went to help Paw Paw work on the boat. After Daddy got home he made a lovely cucumber salad for dinner.  It was delicious!!!

Mommy ate the cucumber salad and Callen is moving around like crazy now!!  Time for some ice water!!  :D

Fun Friday!!!

Today was fabulous!!!  Mommy got up this morning and made cream cheese crescent bake stuff for the breakfast potluck at work.  While I was cooking Max was just chilling near the kitchen.

Mommy was thinking about what an awesome dog Max is and thought "Oooh!!  Today is pay day!!  What can we buy Max this week??"  lol  So after the awesome day at work Mommy and Daddy took Max on a field trip to Petsmart!  He got to go inside and roam around the store.  We got him a few bags of treats, a Kermit the Frog toy and a squeaky crab toy.  He had so much fun!!

Active baby!!

Little man was so active today!!!  He really moves around a lot when Mommy drinks lots of ice water!!  :)

Another awesome day!!!

Today was a pretty awesome day so far!  Got up after the alarm went off a few times & Callen started kicking to let Mommy know he wants her to eat some food!!  Took Max outside, fed him, grabbed some cheese and peanut butter & half a spark before hopping into the shower!  

Got to work at 8:00 and sat down.  Mommy had a pretty busy day ahead!  She had a lot of work that she needed to get done.  Her team had a number of call scripts to write still and they had to monitor phone calls at some point.  At 12:30 Daddy came upstairs to have lunch with Mommy.  He cooked some Tuna fillets for lunch.  Mommy only took a half hour for lunch and decided to go back to work.  

She left work at 4:30-ish and is now home getting ready for TV Night with Nana and Sandi.  (And maybe Uncle Chad!)  Hopefully we get to have some more fried hot dogs for dinner.  Or maybe a salad.  A salad would be nice.  Mommy needs to eat a salad with lots of veggies!!  But before she goes she needs to find that shirt with the STUPID CAMEL on it:

Moving like crazy!!

Callen has been moving like crazy today!!  He is kicking and punching and flipping all around in Mommy's belly!!

We begin the day by feeling Callen kick (this let's Mommy know he is hungry & ready for her to eat!) so Mommy gets out of bed and goes to the restroom.  Then we go downstairs, let Max out & get some food!!  This morning Mommy had a cheesestick, yogurt & a protein shake!

At work Mommy had lunch with Daddy & she ate the same thing for lunch that she had for breakfast because Daddy made some chicken & Mommy DID NOT like the chicken!

Then towards the end of the day Mommy had a crazy craving for deep fried hot dogs!  So after work she went to Nana's house, fried some hot dogs and proceeded to put them on a hot dog bun with shredded cheese, chopped onions & mustard!  They were so good Mommy ate 3 of them!!  Uncle Chad ate one and made Mommy think he had never had them before but Nana said he loves them and eats them all the time!

Mommy brought Daddy home some hot dogs and then she turned on the NBA Finals to watch game 3 of the Heat & Spurs.  Miami lost and it was horrible!  Their defense was terrible and there were some pretty horrible calls.  Oh well!  We'll see when game 4 comes around!

Mommy was getting sleepy while the game was still on & decided she should head upstairs to finish the game!  Good night!!

28 weeks!

Boring weekend!

Mommy's had a boring weekend!!  Started off kind of blah because Mommy was in a bad mood.  Then Mommy did nothing but laundry all day yesterday!  (Watched NCIS: Los Angeles while doing it so it wasn't that bad.)  Callen moved around a lot yesterday.  Mommy wasn't very comfortable at all because she could feel her belly stretching, but at least we know Callen is still growing like he is supposed to be!

Daddy had a pretty busy day.  He went to the Strong Man Gym in Milton & worked out for a while (lifting cars and other crazy workout!!)  Then he came home, mowed the front and back yard before heading out to Maw Maw & Paw Paw's to work on boat stuff for a while.

When Daddy came home he said that his mom, Grandma Jan was coming over with a surprise for Mommy.  She brought Callen some more cute clothes!

So that put Mommy in a better mood!

Mommy is working in the coffee shop at church today but afterwards Mommy & Daddy are meeting up with Grandma Jan and Aunt Jamie for lunch and shopping at Target.  Here's to a good day!!  :)

FABULOUS DAY!!

Mommy had a fabulous day today!!  It was "Super Hero" Day at work, so Mommy wore her Batman shirt and went around saying "I am Batman!!" all day long!!

For lunch Mommy and Callen had chicken and green bean casserole!  The rest of the day flew by because Mommy stayed pretty busy with some of the work projects her and her team have been working on.  

After work Mommy came home and watched NCIS:  Los Angeles with Max, took a short nap, and then met Tina and Julie at Wild Honey & Moe's.  Mommy ordered a "Homewrecker Jr." meal, which was a wonderful burrito with bean and rice on it and it came with chips and queso and a drink from one of those cool pop machines where you can mix flavors!!  

Dessert was frozen yogurt from Wild Honey.  It's a good thing they have those sample cups...Mommy ran around for 10 minutes trying different flavors she thought she wanted before finally deciding on Pink Lemonade Frozen Yogurt (go figure!  She loves lemons right now and the only flavor of spark she really loves is Pink Lemonade!)

Then Mommy and Julie went to Motherhood Maternity store which was next to Wild Honey because we saw a sign that said 3 for $20 on a table of shorts.  Well, it turned out to be for tank tops and we were both looking for shorts or pants.  We tried on a few different pairs but nothing fit like we wanted it to.  So we went back outside and sat at the table chatting.

Once we realized it was almost 10:00 we decided we'd better leave.  Samantha had to get home to go to bed and we were all tired.  So we just got home, Mommy updated the blog, Daddy got Max and they are upstairs waiting for Mommy to come to bed.  :)

We slept in!!

Good morning!!  The alarm went off...we got up & used the bathroom...took Max outside & laid back down until 6:00!!!  WOO HOO!!!  Mommy is up...we had breakfast & our vitamins...Callen is moving around...lunch is in the oven...the day is off to a great start!!!  :)

Glucose Test!!

So Mommy had an exciting appointment with Jenny Allen today!!  The alarm went off but Mommy was tired and did not want to get up just yet.  So she stayed in bed until Callen started moving around.  Then she headed downstairs to let Max out and to make her & Daddy a "high protein" breakfast.  They had scrambled eggs with cottage cheese (makes them FLUFFY!) topped with American cheese slices and some CRISPY bacon!!

Mommy's appointment was at 9:00.  Mommy & Daddy drove separately so that Daddy could get to work a little sooner since Mommy had to drink her "flat orange pop" drink and wait an hour to get her blood drawn.  Before the glucose test we got to hear Callen's heartbeat and the nurse practitioner that was listening said that was the strongest heartbeat she ever heard!  :)  Then Jenny came in, Mommy drank her drink, Jenny told Mommy & Daddy that they needed to come in every two weeks for appointments now which means WE'RE NEARING THE END!!!  Next appointment is June 18 and we will get the results of the glucose test.  Jenny also said that because the "orange drink" was loaded with sugar, Callen will be pretty active today and boy was she right!!

So then Mommy went to Wendy's to get lunch for her and Daddy.  We had Spicy Chicken Caesar salads and some chicken nuggets.  Mommy also stopped at Starbucks because she had been telling Daddy for a few days she would get him some coffee.

Mommy got to work at 11:30, took Daddy his food and coffee, then headed to her desk.  As soon as she sat down Callen started moving and kicking!!  It was great!!  He was active all day!!  I'm pretty sure the ice cream social we had at work didn't help calm him down any!  But Mommy drank lots of water today and made sure she took her vitamins with meals like normal.

After work, Mommy came home and played with Max for a little while, did a few chores (as much as she could comfortably do!) and then changed into her "Stupid Camel" shirt for TV night with Nana!  Since it was just Mommy and Nana tonight, Mommy stopped at Sonny's BBQ to pick up dinner.  Mommy & Callen had chicken, ribs (which Mommy couldn't start to eat, she was so full), macaroni & cheese, green beans & garlic bread.  Nana had all chicken and cole slaw instead of beans.  TV night was fun.  Nana kept taking funny pictures of Mommy's belly!  She kept "sharing" the picture from a few weeks ago on Facebook.

Then Mommy started to get tired and was ready to come home to Daddy and Max.  She got home, gave Daddy her ribs and updated the blog.  Had a pretty awesome day!  Excited for tomorrow at work...it's "Hero" Shirt Day!  :)

Fun night!!

So Mommy had a great day!  Although Callen decided to start putting body parts up into Mommy's ribs, which was a bit uncomfortable.  So Mommy got up and walked around a lot today.  Standing was the most comfortable position for her.  She walked to the branch at Navy Federal on lunch today, then to the cafeteria with Daddy, then back to her desks which was .90 miles!  (She had RunKeeper calculate it!)  She walked around the office some more until she had walked for 25 minutes!

After work Mommy went to Aunt Erin & Uncle Kyle's house for what we thought was going to be "Game Night" but instead we ate yummy vegetable and deer sausage soup, had Frosties from Wendy's and watched "Get Smart" with Steve Carell and The Rock!  It was nice!

When Mommy got over there, James said "Aunt Stephanie has a BABY in her belly!!" and he rubbed mommy's belly.  Then Mommy got some ICE WATER & got ready for soup!!  James helped us eat our dinners and then he went into Erin and Kyle's room and fell asleep (he had no nap today).

While we were watching "Get Smart" Kyle was so awesome and went for Frosties for us!  They were delicious!  Mommy had fun feeling Callen move all around as she ate the Frosty.

Mommy just got home and Daddy is so awesome that he had to garage cleaned and ready for her to park whatever car she was driving in the garage, he took out the garbage AND cleaned up some inside!  He's the BEST!!  It was a pretty good day!!  Mommy is going to lay down and see if Callen goes to sleep any time soon, although it will be ok if he doesn't!!

Tomorrow is "Team Shirt" Day at work so Mommy is going to wear one of her OHIO STATE BUCKEYE shirts & some jeans.  Hopefully she'll be up in time to get to work early so she can make up some time for her doctors appointment Wednesday!  Glucose test...which should be loads of fun!!  :)

This thing is one of Mommy's favorites!!

Mommy LOVES her some ice water right now!!!  The 24 oz. Tervis cups is one of the BEST inventions yet!!  This gets filled 3 to 4 times per day.  & Callen really starts moving around when Mommy chugs a lot of the water down!  :)

Callen's up!!

So Mommy got up this morning at 5:30 when the alarm went off and Callen started moving around!  It's a good thing it is casual week at work!!  Mommy is tired!!  But today is MONDAY, which means...

Starting to get tired again!

Mommy is almost 27 weeks along and she is starting to get tired a lot again!  Daddy and Mommy went to church this morning but were a little late because Mommy wanted Starbucks.  (Grande Vanilla Bean Frappucino, non-fat, no whip!)

After Life Group we went to a hardware store so Daddy could get some parts he needs for the boat.  Then we killed a little more time at Wal Mart getting Max some treats and a toys until it was time to meet Grandma White and Aunt Jamie for lunch at the Shrimp Basket.  When we got to the Shrimp Basket it was really great because we got to sit next to Kyle, Erin & their parents, which was unexpected!

Mommy ordered some shrimp tacos, but ended up trading with Daddy because they had tartar sauce on them.  She at a few pieces of shrimp but was full and gave Daddy back his original lunch because she had eaten some PICKLE CHIPS and LEMONS when they first got there.

So Mommy was happy with lunch!  

Then while at home Mommy realized she needed to go to Target for a few things and ended up getting some really good deals on deodorant and body wash for her and Daddy.  She got $20 in Target gift cards!!

After that Mommy laid on the couch while Callen flipped and flopped around.  She was debating getting up to go to the grocery store.  She didn't really feel like it because she was tired, but decided it was best she did.  So she went up to Winn Dixie and walked up and down every isle for some exercise.

After Mommy got home she made lazy dinner & popped one of the pizzas she got on sale in the oven.  Then it was time to hit the couch and watch NCIS:  Los Angeles!  Mommy was exhausted from the day and Callen was sleeping now.
