39 Weeks!

Mommy's been so tired!!!

Mommy has been so tired lately!!!!  But today is 39 weeks!!!!!  Callen will be here very soon so Mommy & Daddy need to be ready!!!!  :D

Room is coming along!

Mommy and Daddy spent a lot of time working on things for Callen's arrival this weekend!  Daddy is busy finishing up the changing table/dresser!  Mommy & Daddy also put together a cube shelf so that Mommy could get some of his onesies organized and put up the cute Monsters Inc lamp that he got from Aunt Jamie.  There are still some things Mommy needs & wants to do but she has no energy!!  :(  Everything will get done though!!  :)

38 weeks!

Mommy's feeling it & getting tired again!!

Mommy's been feeling very different this past week!!  She's had a lot of pressure on her lower abdomen and her feet were swollen for the first time tonight!!  Baby Boy's been moving around like crazy still!!  Mommy LOVES it!!!  Mommy & Daddy went over to Maw Maw & Paw Paw's to see Mike who was visiting from Texas.  Mike brought gifts for Callen that Yolanda made.  :)  She made several burp cloths.  This one's Mommy's favorite!

After leaving Maw Maw and Paw Paw's, Daddy was concerned that it was 8:30 and Mommy had not had dinner yet.  Daddy kept asking Mommy what she wanted for dinner but she did not know.  :(  Finally Daddy took Mommy to Petrella's for a to-go order of lasagna.  Mommy ate that and went to bed.  These last couple of weeks are going to be rough! 

Weekly visit with Jenny!

Mommy had her weekly visit with Jenny this morning!  It was the first "scare" Mommy had this whole time.  Ms. Allen went to find Callen's heartbeat so she told Mommy to lay back.  Mommy laid back and the table was lower than usual.  She was pretty much laying on her back.  It took Ms. Allen a few minutes to find Callen's heartbeat and when she did she left the room quickly and called for the ultra sound machine to be turned on.  Mommy asked if everything was ok and Ms. Allen said "He shouldn't be doing that."  Mommy started to get scared.  She told Mommy his HR was slower than it usually is.

Ms. Allen helped Mommy get down to the ultra sound room and she had Mommy lay on her side.  The found Callen on the screen and Ms. Allen said that everything was fine, he just didn't like Mommy laying on her back.  What a relief!!  Ms. Allen hugged Mommy, apologized for getting her worried and sent her on her way to work.  :)

37 weeks!!!

Almost time for church!!

Mommy's up getting ready to go to church in a little while.  Daddy is sore from moving all the heavy furniture and boxes yesterday so he is going to stay home and rest.  Then we are going to visit Paw Paw at the rehab place behind the hospital where he had his knee surgery.  Today should be a little easier than yesterday!!  :)

Moving Day!

Today was a busy day!!!  Mommy & Daddy helped Aaron & Julie get stuff moved from their little house in Pensacola to their new BIGGER house in Milton!  We got to the little house around 10 AM.  Daddy & Aaron started packing the truck with boxes that were already packed while Mommy packed some things that still needed to be packed in the kitchen.  Then Julie came back and her & Mommy packed some more stuff up.

After a couple of hours of getting stuff together we all ate some leftover pizza.  Daddy and Aaron moved the glider that was in the back bedroom to the living room so Mommy could sit and rest for a while.  Kelley & Jason and Daniel & Tina came over to help too.  Mommy continued to pack up some of the stuff in Julie & Aaron's room.  Bagging up the clothes in the closet and loading them into vehicles was so easy so that's what Mommy did!  She also taped together some boxes to get things in the spare bedroom packed up.  It was mostly craft stuff and Mommy was VERY EXCITED to find all of this because since Aaron & Julie are moving into a bigger house, it will be accessible!!  YAY!!  Craft time at Julie's house!!  :)

After the truck was loaded as much as it could be and all of the cars were loaded with stuff, we all headed out to the new house in Milton!  When we got there Mommy & Julie started to unload all the clothes that were in the car and hang them up in the closets.  We got as much as we could get that was easy and let the guys do everything else!

Julie & Mommy went to the grocery store to get things to make spaghetti dinner for everyone!  It was an easy meal and cheaper than everyone eating out!  We realized how late it was and that Julie still needed to pick up Samantha.  So Mommy stayed at the house and cooked and Julie got Samantha from Pensacola.  Then everyone stopped to eat around 7:30-8:00 and we socialized for a little bit!  Sean and Lorena came over to visit and brought Mommy & Julie gifts for their babies!!  Callen got some more cute little Disney outfits!  :)

And pretty much all day Mommy thinks she was having Braxton Hicks contractions.  They weren't "regular" and intense, but maybe a couple times (or less) each hour and uncomfortable.  They didn't last very long so Mommy just told everyone, they told her to sit down, & we continued our fun moving adventure!!  :)

Busy weekend!!

Movie was great last night!!  We have a busy weekend ahead!!  We are helping the Stices move into their new house!

It's the weekend!!!

It's Friday and it's PAYDAY!!!  :D  Mommy and Daddy have a movie date with Uncle Jason and Aunt Kelley.  We'll see how this goes...movie theater seats are not very comfortable for Mommy right now!  But Guardians of the Galaxy...here we come!!

Maximillion is the funniest dog ever!

So Daddy stayed with Paw Paw tonight at the hospital because he just had knee surgery.  Mommy didn't want to stay home alone because her due date is so close.  So Nana said she would come and stay the night with Mommy.  Nana and her friend Elwood came over with a surprise for Mommy!  Nana got Callen's mattress for his crib!!  So Mommy got excited, washed all the bedding & put Callen's bedding on!

Max is very protective of Mommy.  So protective that he wouldn't even let Nana touch her belly!!  Every time Nana would put her hand on Mommy's belly Max would come over and wedge his head between Nana's hand and Mommy's belly.  At first Mommy thought that Max just wanted Nana to pet him but the more we experimented with it, the more we realized what he was doing.  It was so funny!  Callen is going to LOVE his dog!!

SURPRISE!!!

Mommy had a huge surprise at work today!!!  Everything was going great...it was a relaxing day.  The four of us ladies on Mommy's team were working really hard on many projects for our department.  Currently, we are converting from one system to another.  So when Mommy was told she was going to shadow Thomas to learn some things on the new system after lunch, she didn't think anything of it.

Amanda, Anna, Jessica & Mommy went to lunch at the cafeteria.  It was meatloaf dinner day and Mommy loves meatloaf!  Amanda asked Mommy "Are you sure you want meatloaf for lunch?"  Mommy did so Amanda said "Ok."  We were eating our lunch, Mommy with the meatloaf dinner.  The others with small sides.  Mommy didn't think anything of it.

After lunch we walked backed to our building.  Thomas was waiting for Mommy at her desk.  We apologized for being late.  Thomas told Mommy to get her headset and clipboard and pen for notes.  Then Mommy & Thomas went down to the 2nd floor to Thomas's desk to shadow for an hour since Thomas had a "meeting" at 1:00.  Thomas showed Mommy all kinds of cool things with the new system and Mommy was busy taking notes and asking questions.  Thomas told Mommy he could be a little late to his meeting so Mommy continued to ask questions until about 1:10.  Then Thomas said "Ok I have to go to this meeting now.  I'll walk you back upstairs before I go though."

Mommy and Thomas got back upstairs to Mommy's desk and Anna and Amanda were up there.  Anna said "Hey!  Let's go get some of Jessica's Mac & Cheese!"  Mommy responded with "Nah...I'm still kind of full from my meatloaf."  Amanda says "Ok, well let's go get some water then."  Mommy was thirsty so water sounded great!  So we all walked to the breakout area to "get some water."

Mommy was so surprised when we walked over there!!!  All of her amazing co-workers had been planning an awesome baby shower for Mommy & Callen for a while now!!

Mommy was so surprised she cried!!!  Her co-workers are so sweet!!

It was a Monster Inc. themed shower too!

Callen's room is complete!!  They got his bedding!!  Mommy works with some amazing people!!!  Now to get everything completed before he gets here...

Visit with Jenny!!

Mommy went to visit Jenny Allen this morning!!  Callen's heartbeat was very strong as usual!!  He's been moving a lot lately & it's not been so comfortable for Mommy.  Jenny said he is head down and getting ready to come!!  Mommy told her about all the pressure she was feeling and Jenny said "Yes...he's getting ready!!"

Jenny also told Mommy to go eat something after she left her office.  Apparently Mommy is losing weight...3 pounds since last week...1 pound the week before.  Other than that Mommy is doing great!  She is also supposed to be getting her bag packed right now but she'll do that after she updates the blog!  Mommy still needs to get with Daddy to decide what Baby Boy is coming home in!  :D

Weekly check up!!

Mommy is off to see Jenny Allen this morning!!  We visit once a week!!!  Can't wait to hear Callen's heartbeat!!  :D

Funday Monday!!

Mommy had a pretty good day to start the week off!!  We went to lunch for Amanda's birthday at work and we had Hibachi!!  It was great!!  The guy even make the rice into Mickey Mouse!!  :D

After Mommy got home from work she went with Aunt Kelley to a Bible Study Fellowship dinner where everyone was excited to see each other since we hadn't been together since the start of summer!  

After the fellowship, Mommy & Callen went to Aunt Kelley's because her and Uncle Jason had gone to Niceville to see Aunt Kelley's parents.  Aunt Kelley's mom, Ms. Jane, got a TON of stuff for Callen!!!

Mommy's car was packed to the roof!!

Thank you Ms. Jane for all of this wonderful baby stuff!!  It will be used and then saved for Jason & Kelley!!  :D

36 weeks!!!

Mommy is 36 weeks today!!!  Only about a month left until Callen gets here!!  YAY!!!!!!

Uncle Chad's Birthday!!

Today is Uncle Chad's birthday and I was told SPECIFICALLY that I better not go into labor today!!  lol  We had fun!!  Mommy and Callen stayed up LATE on Saturday making his birthday cake!

Then Uncle Chad wanted to go to McGuire's for brunch so we went there and ate lots of good food!!

Off to a great start for the weekend!!!

So the weekend is starting off pretty great!!!  Last night was a "lazy night" for Mommy and Daddy!  Mommy went to "bed" around 8:30 (she really just watched TV while lying in bed!  :P) & Daddy woke her up to half a Spark mixed with Rehydrate & THEN he cooked her some scrambled eggs!!  Daddy is so sweet!  So even though Mommy did not want to get out of bed because she was enjoying watching her belly move all around, Mommy came downstairs, ate breakfast & got some of the "Thank You" cards in the mail.  She needs to get more stamps before she can send anymore out!

Daddy is going to workout in a little bit and then he is going to help Aaron with things at their new house in Milton.  Mommy is going to call Nana and see what she is doing and hopefully she can get Nana to help her paint her toenails since the last pedicure she had was the end of June.  Mommy still has red, white & blue toes!

Mommy has been feeling different the last few days but she talked to Jenny on Wednesday and told her about the differences.  Jenny said it's only a few weeks away but to be aware and watch for certain things.  Mommy needs to get her hospital bag packed and get things ready for Baby Callen to get here!!  :D  Mommy's appointments are every Wednesday now!!
