~*How we met*~
Brian and I first met when we worked at Pen Air FCU. I volunteered to work at the Saufley Field branch (Brian's branch) one Saturday and he was working as well. Our friend Daniel, who worked at the same branch I did, was telling me "You get to work with my friend Brian on Saturday. He's a really cool guy!" My response was "I don't care about your friend Brian!! Guys are stupid!" I stuck around for another 45 minutes or so for him to talk Brian up. By the time I left Daniel's desk I wanted to meet this guy Brian!
Saturday came along and I got to work. The Senior Teller and one other teller were already there. So we were getting ready for the day and I was still anticipating the arrival of this guy named Brian. All of a sudden he comes through the door and all I could think was "Wow!" There was just something about him. We worked our four hours together and were later told that all we did was flirt the entire time.
I eventually found Brian on Facebook (he called it "stalking" but whatever!) I mentioned how I had some movie tickets so Brian invited himself to come to the movies with me. So we went to the movies on a Friday and saw Paul Blart: Mall Cop. After the movie we spent about 30 minutes chatting in the parking lot before we decided to go to Wal Mart. While we were in Wal Mart, Brian proceeded to let me know that his birthday was August 29 and I could get him a $400 camera (since it was so expensive it had to be the best one). We then found a park bench in the grocery department and decided to "People Watch" for a while. After we left Wal Mart Brian took me to Squire Park and we just sat and talked about the Bible for over an hour. It was a great first date!
Our second date was that following Monday. It was President's Day 2009 and we had the day off from work. We hung out all day and ended up at Academy. There in the parking lot we made it official that we were a couple!
~*The Proposal*~
All of a sudden one of the servers came and took my dessert! I was not happy! But he told me there was more and put a big glass cake platter in front of me. I was extremely puzzled but thought "Ok, I should take the lid off and see what is inside." I removed the lid to find a beautiful bed of rose petals with a small glass slipper sitting on top of them. As I looked closer I saw a ring on a few rolled up rose petals! I looked up and saw everyone around me looking and taking pictures. I saw Brian getting down on one knee so I began to cry like a baby! It was the sweetest thing ever! My dessert was also replaced with a chocolate filled chocolate slipper and fruit!
It was the best proposal a girl could ask for!

We got married January 8, 2011.

I loved reading your delivery story so I then read the story of how you and Brian met. So cool. I am so happy you and Brian have a healthy baby boy. I know you have lots of friends and family to help but if I can do anything at all please let me know. Joyce Lewis
