Watching what we eat & EXERCISE!!!

So today we were a little more aware of the things we were eating today.  Mommy takes her vitamins but she was also told she needs to watch what she eats as well!  Jenny said to cut down on the sugars, breads, pastas & NO MORE JUICE!  Drink lots of water!

So here's what we had to eat today:


  • For breakfast mom went to the cafeteria at Navy Federal and got some scrambled eggs, 3 slices of turkey bacon & some hash browns.
  • For lunch mom ate some Veggie Lasagna that she made earlier in the week.  The veggie lasagna was a Paleo recipe that used ground turkey instead of beef and eggplant and zucchini instead of noodles.  It was much healthier than regular lasagna (& pretty tasty too!)
  • For dinner mom grilled some Italian sausage on the George Foreman and ate that with some marinara sauce and a little bit of mozzarella cheese.  It was cut up and mixed with the cheese and sauce.
  • For a snack, since it was Bible study night with Julie, Kelley & Tina, mom did have some frozen yogurt.  That was the only junk for the day.
Not only did mommy eat better throughout the day, she did the elliptical for 15 minutes after work!!  YAY MOMMY!!!  :)
