4th of July weekend!!

Man it has been a busy weekend for Mommy, Daddy & Callen (Max too!!)  On Friday, we went over to Grandma Jan's for a cookout with Grandma Jan, Nana, Sandi & Jamie.  Mommy spent most of the time in the pool where it was nice and cool!!  Max enjoyed running around the yard and getting treats, mostly watermelon!

Later that evening Daddy took Mommy and Max downtown for the fireworks show.  We met up with Daniel & Tina and Aaron, Julie & Samantha and Nana & Sandi.  Daniel & Tina brought Riley & Patches and Aaron & Julie brought Duke.  The dogs were very well behaved during the show!  It was a great fireworks display!

On Saturday, Mommy and Daddy went with Grandma Jan and Jamie to the Foley Outlets.  Max was exhausted so he stayed home and slept in his crate.  We walked around for 4 HOURS!!  Mommy was EXHAUSTED by the time we left!  Of course we hit every baby store there was & Callen got a TON of new clothes!  Daddy picked out several cute little shirts for Callen.  One said "Daddy's Personal Trainer" and a few others had pictures on the front that made it look like Callen is a robot and something else.  Mommy's favorites were the awesome flip flops she found for 99 CENTS!!!!!

After a long day of walking around shopping (Mommy definitely got her exercise!) we went to Bass Pro for lunch.  We were going to go to Lambert's but the wait was 2 hours!  Mommy hadn't had anything to eat since 9:00 that morning and it was 2:00 so we weren't waiting!  Mommy had a HUGE Cobb Salad and some calamari for an appetizer.  Daddy had crawfish and alligator.  Max got a new toy which Daddy is so excited about because it is a sling shot toy that Max is supposed to fetch and bring back.  He doesn't have the "bring back" part down yet.

Mommy was so exhausted that she went to bed at around 9:00 and didn't get up until 7:30 for church.  Mommy and Daddy went to Life Group and then Mommy worked in the coffee shop until 1:00.  She was still so tired so she came home, had some veggie lasagna for lunch, watched an episode of FRIENDS and took a nap until around 3:00.  

After Mommy got up from her nap, Daddy got home from his workout at the Strongman Gym!  Mommy started to straighten up the house a little more, did some laundry and made her and Daddy a Cucumber and Tomato Salad with BANANA PEPPERS!!  It's been a busy weekend but Mommy is feeling pretty good!!  She had a great nap and Callen has been moving around all day!!  Especially when she was laying down watching TV!
